The Start of the 2018 Season!

Wow!  What a fast spring we had!  We started spring cleaning in mid-May and were finalizing the last projects the day our first guests arrived on June 23rd! 

But we made it!  And we are now into week 2!  We are fully staffed and all the new employees are adjusting well into their positions, especially our new Head Chef and Pastry Chef!  We have been working with them closely to guide them towards the traditional fare we serve, with some of their flare thrown in. It can be challenging to find a good fit for these positions and half the battle is finding a person who loves to live and work in the Adirondacks. The isolating nature of this area can be difficult.  None-the-less, we are super excited to have them as part of our team!

Speaking of the Adirondacks…have you checked out the article in the Adirondack Life about The Waldheim?  It just came out in their July/August issue and we are blown away by the photos, as well as, how nicely it was written.  We are incredibly grateful for the opportunity to be in a publication such as The Adirondack Life!  

As we get into the peak of the summer, keep checking our website for our cottage availability as we are updating it constantly.  We also take walk-ins for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Just give us a days notice and we’ll get a table set up for you!
